Problem: I have been off work with panic & anxiety attacks since last October. I am working on starting up on my own as a Reiki Practioner/Healer and would like to see what the future holds for me.

Kim says: As I look into your current situation, I see that you have come through a period in your life where you have felt like things have been at a standstill. There has been a sense of frustration and exhaustion from having to juggle so many things in your life. There is also expansion in 2011 as you begin to start running your own workshops teaching small groups of people Reiki. All in all, its amazingly positive, you are really stepping into your own sense of power and are very focused about the future. You leave the past behind and venture into brighter new horizons.
Problem: My daughter and her partner are planning to set up a business training racehorses. I worry constantly about them as this is so expensive. Will they realise their dreams and be successful? They are very driven and committed to the dream, and very caring of animals.

I don't feel it's just offering training as there seems to be much more to this. The month of May is connected to this project. I can feel they have been working very, very hard on the location to get this off the ground and I would say keep at it!
Problem: My life is like a patchwork quilt. There is generally a pattern there, but I cannot see it! A reading would be very welcome at this time of my life as usually I can visualize outcomes of events etc but I'm struggling to see the path ahead ....any help would be gratefully appreciated.

This shows you have the strength and determination to clear out all the past issues around you and indicates a sense of new beginnings for you in interests and career. I also pull the Devil, which underlines that it is absolutely the right time to be more assertive with yourself, to take control of your life. Follow what you are drawn to and believe in yourself.
Problem: Why do I feel as though I never fit in?

Jennifer says: Sometimes it is easy for us to feel isolated especially if we are not loving and appreciating who we are. We are all unique and special and, just because at times we feel like we are not a "sheep", that is really ok too. When I feel like this which I would describe as "putting myself on an island" I try and nurture myself a little bit more than usual. Take a trip to a spa or swimming pool and really spend some time pampering just you. Or do something you have always wanted to do but never got round to. It is not because we don't fit anywhere - it is because we are not attracting the people who are like us because we are subconsciously pushing them away. There are many lovely people just like you to connect with and you will find a place to fit and feel comfortable in due course. It could just be that at this particular time you have to learn to be happy in your own company.
Problem: Why do I have to keep having to making choices between my partners and my family? It’s a reoccurring theme in my life. Do I keep making the wrong choice so have to have the lesson again? My date of birth is 11/07/57

Lori says: I have drawn three very interesting cards - Knight of Swords, Eight of Wands and Knight of Cups. Looking at these cards visually, there are two very different Knights on either side of a very lively card of action and communication giving the impression of you being pulled at from different directions. Very unsettling for a sensitive, family oriented Cancerian like yourself. I get the feeling here that you are trying to please all the people in your life, all of the time and this is not possible. There has to be some compromise and acceptance - all round. You're not a child anymore and, to a certain extent, you shouldn't have to keep making choices. I don't feel that's it's necessarily you that is making the wrong choice, you should know by now what you want and what is good for you. There needs to be room in your life for everyone and there can be with a little organisation. I feel that communication is the key here, tell it how it is and if someone doesn't like it then let it be their problem - because it is!
Question: I would like to know how we distinguish between the messages being given to us and our imagination.

Carolyn says: Meditation is the key to aid us in knowing the difference between our own inner voice and that of Spirit. The more we meditate, the more we then build up a strong connection between us and our guides or loved ones. Also, writing down what is given also helps as we start to sense, feel and hear a lower voice then our own. It’s a very soft, quiet spoken voice which, in our busy routine, is very difficult to hear. Spirit communicates through thought. Over time and with trust you will grow to know the difference.
