Charity

A recent survey in the USA came to the conclusion that to find happiness, it is important to give back, help others and thank people who have helped you in the past. If we all did one small thing for others and for charity it would soon transform the world! Just giving a bit of your money, time or energy to a charity is fabulous for your happiness and soul! Great for them, great for you and great for the whole!

I strongly believe that to make the world a better place, we have to reach into our hearts and give something back. We are trying to develop close relationships with charities and individual projects like our rescue animals. Please check out these charities as they are very close to our hearts.

Little Bridges

Little Bridges is the only hospice for children in the South West. We have just donated £220 as an initial donation with plans for ongoing donations.

World Vision

We have three adopted children one in Peru one in Albania and one in Africa who we sponsor monthly and also give additional funds to. Small amounts of money make a phenomenal difference.

Although this is a long-term commitment, I highly recommend this charity. Why not buy a goat for someone for Christmas via World Vision? The photo above shows the goats we bought. (We also bought some desks for a school.)

Carriage Driving For The Disabled.

We have also supported West Somerset carriage driving for the disabled. Putting energy into local charities is fantastic as it give you sense of well being and an appreciation of all the blessings in your life. Why not check out your local charity?

Pumpkin our rescued Shetland

This is a photo of Charlotte, our rescue Shetland pony. Sadly, in the end she had to be put down, but she got to spend a whole year with our gorgeous foal Piccolo, who is doing stunningly well and is in love with Pumpkin, our other Shetland.

Lilly our rescued Donkey

This is Lilly, one of our rescue donkeys. She is so gorgeous and is now like a show donkey! When she arrived she was a flea bitten wreck with overgrown hooves. She always makes me laugh and is a delight.

AONA

I recently attended a gig for http://www.aona.co.uk/ where I gave a reading to Dame Kelly Holmes. What a star! She is generous of spirit and a wonderful, down to earth, open hearted person. Kelly is an inspiration who is someone dedicated to giving back and making the world a better place with a real passion for life.
